What is your training style:I am very positive and energetic, yet down to earth and enjoy building a rapor with my clients. I listen first to my client's goals and expectations, then build a plan around that. My sessions almost always include a mix of cardio, strength, flexibility, balance and of course fun! I enjoy teaching my clients how to live their life in a healthier way so they can eventually stay on track without me.
What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:When a person dives into a new or different workout routine. Usually injuries occur because of not starting off with ease. Whenever your body is introduced to something new it takes time to adapt. The adaption process is a good thing for you body to experience so it is challenged, but not doing it in a proper way can cause more harm then good. I enjoy always challenging my clients with new exercises and routines, but the main reason I am there is to prevent injuries.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:Whether they are trying to lose 5lbs or the first 50lbs, it's always a rewarding experience. Nutrition plays a key role along with exercise. My programs will always include nutrition in order for the client to reach their goal in the least amount of time. I will teach them how to eat right and still be able to lead a normal life. Quick fixes and pre packaged meals are not the answer, learning to change your life for the healthier is.
