Why have you become a trainer:I became a trainer after being involved in fitness since the 70s and finding that all the free advice I was handing out to friends and family got them results. I enjoy helping people get healthier, feel better, look better, etc., so it was time to take the next step and get more education and become certified by the industry leaders and start my own training business.
What is your training style:My training style changes dramatically to fit the client. I may be their cheerleader, therapist, or drill sargeant depending on what their particular personality needs. I always try to keep the sessions fun, interesting, educational, and varied to keep the client motivated. I also hold them very accountable to both their exercise and nutrition goals to ensure success.
In general, please describe your experience:I have over 30 years of fitness experience. I originally helped family and friends by answering questions and helping them to design fitness programs, and that lead to taking the next step, beginning in 1997, and becoming certified by ACE, ISSA, and NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I have experience in training bodybuilders, powerlifters, runners, general fitness enthusiasts, as well as those who's goals include general health, fitness, fat loss or muscle gain.
