What is your training style:My training style is comprehensive, involving the clients overall health, instead of just targeting physical fitness. I can be intense, with pushing clients to acheive more, sports performance, and Boot Camp. Most of the time, I am laid back, and easy going. Exercising for life, sports, and being fit should be fun, or experienced/taught with positives. This is also a great way to be a teacher. NIKE!
What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:Trends tend to come and go, like many other industries. A lot of what we see today, in terms of equipment/devices,was used before many of us were born. A lot of training styles have also been re-invented. For instance, advanced countries have become so reliant on technology, and it pushes us farther and farther away from being physical with our bodies...We are seeing it with the youth of today...the functional and balance/stability training is necessary today, because we are so deconditioned.
What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience:Along with the C.S.C.S., I am certified through the USAW-United States Weight Lifting Association-for Olympic Lifting. I am also a certified Gold Conditioning Specialist, through GMP Fitness. After that, I'm certified through the USATF, As a level one coach-United States Track and Field Association. I coach high school track and field, and football. I teach instructional fitness courses at the University of California Berkeley.
