Why have you become a trainer:I started as an athlete. Next I was practicing and was asked for help and it spread to lifting weights. I just understood how something looked and what changes were needed and when I was watched I would have an audience that would want some help. I would help , next i was coaching and finally i was working at a gym and was asked to try personal training.
What is your training style:I train for improvement. Regardless of who they are , they can improve. If they are after pregnancy, post op, post cancer or stroke I try to get back what was lost. If weak or overweight I target getting stronger and leaner. If someone hates something they do it moderately.I do multiple exercise sets and work to increase strength, flexibility and cardio fitness.
In general, please describe your experience:Starting out as a multiple time County Champ, NYSHS State Champ and All American in Track and Field I have worked with athletes. real good ones and real bad ones. I have improved all of them. I have worked with the elderly, from senior fitness, to strokes, heart attacks and bypass and other surgeries. I have worked with post breast and other cancers also pre and post natal. I have dealt with serious back and knee issues from scoliosis to back disease to meniscus tears to reconstructed knees.
