Describe a particularly challenging client you have trained:Actually, several. They had been on multiple health regulating medications and I contributed to having them discontinued by doctors' orders. My dedication, experience, and knowledge allowed me to change lives for the better. I actually had a client who weighed 530 lbs. when he came to me. I dropped him down 90 lbs. in 8 months without him "rebounding" his weight. I also increased his mobility dramatically and changed the way he lives his life to this very day.
In general, please describe your experience:For 12 years I have worked with abled to disabled, young to elderly, and beginner to elite clients for great results. I have experience in women's fitness, seniors, sports specific training, ie. tennis, baseball, cheerleading, football, martial arts, bodybuilding, etc. I have worked in major chain gyms (certainly not bragging about that), conducted group fitness classes and boot camps, and currently do mobile personal training on location.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:Assess their activity level, eating habits, daily maintenance calories, medical conditions, personal availability, and a timed goal for results. Then I would do what I do best to execute the system needed to get to the goals in a safe, healthy manner without compromising our focus. Give them reason and benefits for what they are doing, so that they stay motivated and excited about their progress and the visualization of realizing their goals.
