What is your training style:In addition to being an ACSM certified fitness trainer, I am an M.D. with 28 years experience in plastic surgery. While I have retired from performing surgery, I now shape the body with exercise using these same concepts of proportion and symmetry. I evaluate each client and design individual programs to create muscular balance and coordinated movement. Believing that form is related to function, I combine functional training with aesthetic body shaping to give dynamic enhancement.
What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience:In addition to my medical and surgical background, I have an extensive exercise experience. I hold a black belt in Shotokan karate and have trained in many martial art styles. I have been a competitive body builder, winning many regional trophies. From all these disciplines, I have chosen and combined what I consider the best of each one, creating my "Plastic Synergy" training method. Life is a journey and I continue to be curious and explore new ideas and incorporate them into my training.
Why should a client train with you:I offer my clients a unique prospective based on my medical background and training experience. I have accumulated a life time of knowledge to permit me to individualize training for the optimal benefit of each of my clients. I can train a young man to have a bodybuilders physique, train a female to optimize her body or train a baby boomer to safely maximize his her potential. I can coordinate training with a clients doctor, if necessary, since we speak the same language.
