What is your training style:Over the years I have acquired a style that has emerged from my diverse experiences in the rehab and fitness worlds. I combine techniques that are used in functional training, bodybuilding, and rehab medicine to clients of all ages and fitness levels. I motivate my clients to work hard and have fun and instill a self commitment that is the essence to their success. I often vary my workout designs and use a triplet or circuit model to make their workouts time efficient and challenging.
Why have you become a trainer:During my years as a participating athlete on organized team sports and playing pick up games in the park, I began to love the essence of the human potential. Also, in the midst of competition, I experiences several injuries over the years which led to my interests in rehab. It has alway interested me to read about the human machine and all of the benefits that consistent exercise yeilds in our lives.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:As I do with all my clients, I would educate them on the benefits of making small consistent changes. My belief is knowledge, effort, and consistency is the key to success in all area of life. It is my job and responsibility to teach all of my clients how to eat properly and to motivated them through a process that is often very daunting and rigorous. I am their Teacher, Coach and Guide to them becoming an better self. I help them know that I am a resource that they can depend on.
