Why have you become a trainer:I started training a little over three years ago. I always enjoyed working out and wanted to help others reach their fitness goals. Since then, I have realized, to a greater extent, just how many people need help with exercise and nutrition. With all the misinformation floating around this industry, I've made it a point to keep pursuing more education, both formal and informal, in the fields of exercise, nutrition, and natural health.
What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:Trends are most often just that...trends. Most new gadgets or techniques don't have much research to back them up. These trends will fade away in a little while and later we'll laugh at them like we do now about the Thigh Master. The most unfortunate part of this is there are some good techniques that get lumped in with all the junk. This is why the trainers and nutritionists at L.E.A.N. Wellness Center continue to research our methods to make sure we're getting results with sound science.
Why should a client train with you:You should train with me because I approach health and fitness from a holistic perspective. This means that rather than just pushing you past the point of failure with every exercise or scolding you when you make poor dietary choices, you and I will create habits involving all of the lifestyle factors that effect your health. These include nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, attitude and others. We'll get you to your goals, make you healthier, and teach you how to maintain your new body.
