Why have you become a trainer:I love fitness and movement and I also love teaching. Personal training is the perfect combination of both. Guiding someone through an exercise program and helping them achieve their goals is the most rewarding experience. Using exercise to change peoples lives not only transforms the client, but, with each workout I also learn and grow in new directions. I couldn't have picked a more fitting career for myself and I am thankful everyday to go to work.
Do you think a personal trainer should be also a good salesman:Trainers don't have to be good salesmen, they have to be excellent communicators. Where most trainers are lacking is not being able to convey the value of exercise to the clients. What other product will make you look better, feel better, increase you confidence, decrease your risk of disease, make you stronger, faster, more balanced and is guaranteed to work? If completely understood, exercise sells itself.
Why should a client train with you:A great trainer has the ability to understand you and then create an exercise and lifestyle plan that is right for you. Where the great trainers make their mark is in their ability to change a persons perception of themselves and guide them to new ideas of who they are and who they can be. Through exercise I get the opportunity to not only do that physically but mentally and emotionally as well. Whatever version of yourself you strive to be I can help you get there.
