What is your training style:Personally I am an amateur powerlifter that uses the conjugated periodization system made famous by Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell. I have the regular 4 day split of ME UB, ME LB, DE UB, and DE LB. I also use 2 days of concentric only movements such as the sled and prowler. Professionally I train most of my clients based on the “hard work” principal. It does not matter if you are an athlete wishing to attain the
Why have you become a trainer:I became a trainer because I saw how truly clueless the general public has become to the ways of exercise. With all the muscle magazines, internet experts, and other literature available to the masses, I think everyone has just become too confused as to what they should or should not do in the gym. Sorting out facts from fiction when concerned with exercise seemed appealing to me, along with the idea of spending my days in a gym, so becoming a trainer became the perfect career path for me.
Why should a client train with you:I decided to find out the truth as best as I could by attending the University of Evansville where I studied Exercise Science. I learned what the body was made of and how it responds to demands placed on it. I did internships in as many different exercise based settings as I could in order to further my knowledge on what exactly does or does not work when concerned with exercise. I hold the highest certifications in our field and have over 10 years experience. I also own the gym I train out of.
