Trainer Experience Questions:

Why have you become a trainer:

Health and fitness have always been a part of my life. As a child I was always running around or playing sports, and a lot of those early habits have stuck with me. However many people are lacking in the area of fitness, and they see the detrimental consequences of a lack of exercise. I want to motivate such people to make positive change in their lifestyles, so they can see for themselves how essential, fun, and exhilarating exercise can be.

Why should a client train with you:

Clients should train with me because I am motivated by seeing life-change. I'm not a salesman, nor do I care mostly about myself and my professional advancement. I want to get to know you, assess your physical fitness, and come alongside with you as a guide and helper towards reaching your fitness goals. It's about you, your fitness, your goals, and your life. Don't make the mistake of picking a trainer who doesn't care about you as an individual.

How would you help an overweight client lose weight:

I would educate them as well as train them. I stress the three main areas of fitness: nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, and weight training. I stress these three things during training, and I teach my clients about them as well. The goal of my Personal Training sessions is for the client to see life change, not just to get them exercised. Weight loss doesn't happen in 3 hours a week. It's the sum total of what you do 24/7. So that requires motivation, as well as knowhow.
