What is your training style:To train with me is like going through grade school again. Its scary in the beginning because its so new and you don't know what to expect. Once you get used to the way things are progressing I make changes and challenge you again. I never let you get stale and every time you feel like things are just about getting easy, I throw you a new twist and challenge you once more. Similar to life where you never know whats coming your way next, I'm here with you to help you along the way.
What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:In my opinion people's biggest mistake in training is to get their workout in when they get a chance. A workout/training session should be part of your daily schedule, something you habitually do. The benefits of exercise far outweigh the little bit of extra time you have to take out of your day from the fun stuff. If people can make that change from fitting it in to making part of their daily schedule there will be many more healthy happy people in this world.
Describe a particularly challenging client you have trained:I am currently training a woman who had a stroke 3 years ago. She is ambulatory but limited with all movements on the right side of her body. Her goals were to walk on her own and to start knitting again. When I started with her she had already been working with a trainer who did a great job of making her strong on the left side of her body, but she wasnt happy yet. When I took over it took a lot of encouragement and some gentle joint mobilizations but she is now able to knit again.
