What is your training style:A client needs to know that you care, before they care what you know. My style is to listen to the history, goals and objectives of the client first. Then, consider with the client what approach may best blend with their preferences and goals while still remaining true to the underlying science of exercise, nutrition and positive lifestyle management. It must be a shared journey with honesty and openness. As a senior level master trainer, I limit my practice to a select few individuals.
Why should a client train with you:Should the client wish to take advantage of a trainer with significant experience and academic/technical training in working with both healthy and "not so healthy" persons, these are the attributes that set me apart from most "trainers." I specialize in medical exercise, therapeutic and preventive exercise and age specific exercise training. I choose to focus on those with special needs or adults who find getting started or being successful with exercise and lifestyle management difficult.
In general, please describe your experience:After 17 years as a school teacher, coach and college professor, I elected to move full time into the exercise science and allied health (medical) field. I have provided service to fortune 100 executives and their programs, municipal government and federal agencies, cardiac rehabilitation and industrial medicine practices, and commercial gyms of all sizes both training individuals and training trainers.
