Why have you become a trainer:I wanted to be a Personal Trainer to help people live to be their healthiest, and realize the benefits that exercise can have, despite the hectic schedule that so many of us have to work around. I understand how difficult it can be to start an exercise regimen and maintain it.I hope to help people to develop and implement an individualized, safe, and effective approach to help them achieve their fitness goals.
What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:I feel the biggest mistake people make is in maintaining proper form during each individual exercise. Since many different exercises have evolved so much over the years, it can be especially difficult to keep afloat on what the proper form is. Because it can be difficult to know the proper form and maintain it during specific exercises and that may be a contributing factor to why it is such a common mistake.
Describe your own workout program:I encourage my clients to start with a warm up which would include cardio work such as on a treadmill. After that it would include some stretches to be prepared for the resistance training. I try to include many different exercises and cover all the major muscle groups. I like to do this because it helps to keep the client from getting bored with the same exercises every week and they get a full body workout. Then I encourage the client to have a cool down section similar to the warm up.
