What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:I believe people don't sit down and really evaluate their capabilities and factor out their strengths and weaknesses before they begin to plan. All they really know is how many reps their going to do and how long it will last. Then they either are not physically able to finish the workout or they wake up as stiff as a rock and in a lot of pain. This scenario can really discourage a person who just wants to be healthy or loose weight fast.
Describe your own workout program:This varies due to my college class schedule and family, as it should. My normal day is a 4.3mile run around a lake at about 530am, after that i eat an apple then jog to my gym, there i spin for 30min, play a basketball game, then move over to the weight room and work on legs, arms, chest, and abs. I isolate these muscle groups as its become habitual and comfortable. For certain local clients that are new to or feel uncomfortable in I use this workout so we are essentially working out together
Do you think a personal trainer should be also a good salesman:YES!!! Because personal trainers are selling health wellness and fitness. We are selling Diabetes management and a stronger heart, ultimately a longer life. Personal trainers need to also be good salespeople at selling themselves because we are the "after" picture that so many clients need to actually see. A lot of people who have never worked out in their life need to see some tangible evidence that working out and being healthy DOES WORK.
