What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:

i think the biggest mistake people make is giving little effort and expecting maximum results. they do not fully understand the discipline and sometimes sacrifice it takes to achieve their goals .i find also that most people start over zealously or work out for the wrong reasons. one should work out to improve your own self image and because it is healthy for you to do so, not to change someones image of you or because someone wants you to. you should do it as an investment in your self .

Have you done any volunteer work:

in my youth i have volunteered as a camp assistant , working with children ages 6-15.i taught them life skills , and supervised their general activities. i have also done volunteer work at the Barbados heart and stroke foundation, where i worked with cardiac rehab patients, as well as stroke patients. my goals were to improve their functional ability and transfer these skills to activities in daily living.

Do you encourage your clients to stop smoking / quit drinking, if yes - how:

i encourage them to gradually cut back, and i show them how much better their bodies can perform without these influences. i also let them know as part of their goal is to make lifestyle changes this is the first step, to reaching their goals. i.e by changing behavior. i show them how counter productive these habits are to their well being. each facet of our life is connected ,and by improving on the little things can make huge differences in their well being.
