What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:Not being organized and specific enough on their goals. People write objectives without clearly outlining what it is they want to accomplish, by when, with built in accountability to ensure success.
Organize your schedule, yourself and your life. Prioritize your goals and schedule yourself in. Make your workouts fit your lifestyle, have fun with it, don't make it grueling work! Believe in yourself and don't put so much pressure on yourself to be perfect...just better!
What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience:I was a Master Fitness Trainer in the United States Army. I am a life coach as well which gives me a little different approach to training clients...it helps me to look from the inside out first!
I love the outdoors and love to train in them for a little different kind of training that can help motivate those who do not always want to be confined to 4 walls. I am creative in designing my workout programs to ensure neither one of us get bored!
In general, please describe your experience:Again, I was a Master Fitness Trainer in the Army, I began training as a personal trainer for the gyms in 1996/7. I started 5 bootcamp programs around Atlanta, went to in-home training and have stayed there. I specialize in training people in their homes.
My certifications range from perinatal/postpardum work, aging adults, special populations to just fun functional training to enable people to move better, become stronger and do the things they enjoy most in life just a little bit better!
