What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:Read my book, Healthy Fitness Central. There are MANY reasons why...the biggest reason I see is in females. If their goal is to lose weight, why train using weights, ESPECIALLY with a trainer. Losing weight is about burning calories, and yes the more muscle mass you have, the higher your RMR, but at the same time, why not do what weight training accomplishes through intense cardiovascular work? You can achieve the same response but 10+x better in doing so. Contact me for more info.
Why should a client train with you:Experience, I've written a book and co-authored 3 on fitness. I know what works and it is a Revolutionary Philosophy that WORKS. I don't train people the same as other trainers do, in fact, I've never seen a trainer train the way I do, and achieve the results I achieve with my clientelle. I have had experience training and speaking internationally at the collegiate and Olympic level, and was a Pac-10 Professional Strength Coach.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:Again, PHILOSOPHY. I have yet to meet someone train the way I do and achieve the results I can achieve with my clients. It works. Part of this process includes:
1. Setting goals
2. Doing assessments
3. Having a Nutritionist that works directly with me and have co-authored books with her
4. Taking Blood pressure and RHR bi-weekly
5. Use a HR monitor
6. Implementation of my philosophy: Train for your Body Type, Change your Body for Life
