What is your training style:Combining cardio with resistance training and targeting all muscles differently each session. Continuous movement, mostly standing exercises for efficient calorie burning and maximum challenge, based on energy and fitness level. Combine upper and lower body compound movements, for a full body workout. Alternating integrated exercises from larger, stronger muscles to smaller, weaker muscles last. Ending each session with stretches.
Have you done any volunteer work:I have been a chairman with United Way, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, a childcare provider at the Y.M.C.A., held youth fitness classes at a club, Ice Hockey Mom, Soccer Mom, Girl Scouts cookie mom, and most recently a volleyball coach. I also volunteer at both kids' schools in many capacities, including annual track meets, and nutrition and exercise demonstrations with several classes at the elementary level.
In general, please describe your experience:I started by getting my YMCA certification, then 24Hr. Fitness exclusive to those clubs. My first international cert was AFAA, then ACSM. I also have Kickboxing, BOSU, Nutrition and CPR certifications. I've worked for private clubs and independently, as well as completed and trained clients for triathlons and cycling races. My passion is outdoor fitness and scuba diving, and I prefer beach and trail running.
