Describe your own workout program:I generally prefer working out outside. I like to walk and run outside as opposed to being in a gym. When I am done walking outside, I do the rest of my exercises at home on the floor using my body weight and with a stability ball. Most often I try to rotate the types of exercises that I do so that I dont do ( pushups ) every day. This way I give my body rest in between days. My favorite way to exercise is to do something functional as opposed to using machines at the gym.
What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:The latest trends are about functional exercises. People are starting to realize that using machines is not the most effective form of exercise. Functional exerciese enables people to learn how to train their bodies so that day-to-day activities are easily performed from the mechanical and stress point of view. We all need to at some point start to pay attention to what we do daily so that our exercises at the gym can mimic that.
Do you encourage your clients to stop smoking / quit drinking, if yes - how:I would encourage every client to stop smoking and limit drinking because both of those habits give the person an impression of counter-health activities. When they try to get into exercising with a trainer, they often do not care because they smoke or drink alcohol which counteracts the healthy behavior at the gym. Because of that I encourage every of my clients to limit smoking and/or quit entirely.
