What is your training style:Since most of my clients come to me for weight loss. I maximize the training time by including bursts of cardio exercise, compound exercises and plyometrics. My training style not only helps you build muscles, but also improves cardiovascular health and torches lots and lots of calories. My clients complete a full body workout in just 30 minutes, when it would take them to do an hour or more at the gym.
What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:The biggest mistake people make is not getting help from a professional. Just like any other profession, a personal trainer is much more efficient and knowledgeable at fitness than someone who just works out. A trainer not only shows you how to perform the exercises correctly, pushes you beyond your comfort level and gives you that accountability that you need to succeed. Having a trainer, ensures that you are consistently working out and eating healthy. Not being consistent is a big mistake!
In general, please describe your experience:I have a vast variety of experience in the fitness industry, from my college education and experience, to corporate fitness and now being a personal trainer/business owner. I am a certified though ACSM as a Health/Fitness Instructor, the gold standard in personal training certifications and hold a Sports Nutritionist Certification through NESTA. In addition to having Q & A column in a local magazine, I have received various "best of " awards and am regularly featured on CNN and CNN.com
