Why should a client train with you:I am compassionate yet motivating. I will work within a client's schedule and overall lifestyle, setting achievable goals to make sure results happen. I have 13 years of various personal training experience, from working in a gym environment to in-home training and running my own personal training business. I have numerous techniques utilizing various forms of equipment to create a personalized program for each unique client.
In general, please describe your experience:I'm an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a Specialty Recognition in Nutrition since 1993. I have lectured at fitness conferences in Bermuda,Miami and NYC. I also worked with WellCall to lecture on health/fitness/nutrition to large NYC corporations. I have been a member of IDEA, ECA and worked with FiTour, as well as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. I specialize in women's fitness/post-partum/weight loss, and diabetes.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:I would ask the client to HONESTLY complete a food diary for 3-7 days- then analyze their diet to see where healthy changes can be made and if necessary recommend a Registered Dietitian. I would train them 2-3X a week using a circuit incorporating cardio intervals along with weights. I would set up an email system to encourage compliance and motivation. I would also recommend at least a 6-week commitment to training to see results, increasing motivation.
