Why have you become a trainer:Ilove it, every since i was young i was always told you cant do this you cant do that. i was born with a small frame but i always admired how people looked in magazines and said that can be me "one day". I can look like they do, and i achieved that goal. Along the road i hit plateus and did extensive reasearch and realize what my life dream was and that was being a personal trainer. There is no job more rewarding then to help others and see them feeling good about themselves.
Describe a particularly challenging client you have trained:I was training a person that was obese and he would always quit or try to escape from working out. So we came to an agreement if he would show up i would shorten his work outs about fifteen minutes shorter then usual.I started to question why he wanted to quit and his response was he doubted that he would reach his goal.THATS WHEN POSITIVE MOTIVATION COMES IN, YOU TELL THEM GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEMSELVES AND PUT FAITH IN THEM THAT THEY CAN AND WILL ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:FIRST I WOULD MAKE THE PERSON FEEL TOTALLY COMFORTABLE WITH ME. SECOND I WOULD SET UP A WORK OUT PLAN THAT FITS HIS/HER NEEDS ALONG WITH A MEAL PLAN.THIRD AND MOST IMPORTANT I WOULD MAKE IT MY JOB FOR THE PERSON TO REACH HIS GOAL BECAUSE PART OF BEING A GOOD PERSONAL TRAINER IS YOUR DEDICATION TO YOUR CLIENTS SUCCESS. THERE ARE THREE KINDS OF TRAINERS IN MY BOOK BAD, GOOD AND GREAT.
GREAT ARE THOSE THAT GO ABOVE AND BEYOND
