Why have you become a trainer:I became a trainer to share with my clients the joy that I obtain myself from exercise. I have changed so many lives not just by getting people to lose weight or get stronger, but allowing them to take their lives back. Being a trainer is not just putting someone through a workout; it is being a friend...You are giving advice that you believe, therein lies the value.
What is your training style:My training style varies with the individual. A good trainer will be able change styles to produce results. My results speak for my work ethic and my ability. To take someone who could not reach goals alone and be the cog that makes that goal realistic. People need a push, I love to make people sore...Soreness is how you can tell if you are getting your moneys worth.
In general, please describe your experience:I started training Body builders and Fitness competitors when I was in college. that is a good way for someone to enter into the industry because they are the easiest group to work with. They know what they have to do OUTSIDE of the gym. After that I moved into general population and Youth athletes. Weight loss takes more than working out, my background in nutritional science allows me to be more than a trainer...I am a sucessful coach for behavior change.
