What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:In my opinion the biggest misktake individuals make while working would be for one using the equipment improperly. Another would be while do their reps they tend to do the very quickly. For those who just start in a program they do not do the right number or sets or not enough reps. Also, they do not know what kind of machines to use compared to what region of the body they want to work on. Those are some biggest mistakes I see.
What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:I think the latest trends in the fitness industry is making sure you look good while working out. From what I have experienced alot of people are not there to work out they are strictly there to either pick up the opposite sex or for social matters. Alot of what people wear what I think is inappropriate and uncomfortable gym wear compared to something that they would feel compfortable and able to move in.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:Well currently I deal with overweight clients and what I do with them is first make sure that their medical history allows them to participate in a fitness program. Then I go through an assessment with them and find out what their exact goals are. Then make a program up for them, doing more cardio at first then resistance training. I would incorporate some resistance, that would be light reps, sets, and weight.
