What is your training style:I feel I have a very unique style compared to others. One similiar comment my clients mention is I am creative in reference to my exercise programs and that every workout is different and challenging. Also my sense of humor and personable style is so entertaining that they actually forget about the muscle burn, and the fatigue.. they eventually realize they made it through another workout, easily with a smile!
Why have you become a trainer:I actually enjoy helping people lead better lives. Its all worth while when you have a client who has never worked out in their lives, is overweight, has several ailments, you see them run in their first 5k ever, and when they cross that finish line, you can see the pride and accomplishment and tears of joy in their eyes as they run up to you and give you the biggest hug. True experiences like this make it all worthwhile. My job..is not a job but a gift.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight:First and foremost I would confirm with their doctor that there were no issues with their health by making sure they had the necessary blood work done, to rule out diabetes, thyroid issues, auto-immune disorders and other ailments that would hinder their progress. I would then provide a challenging yet motivating fitness program, "do-able" eating plan and recommend proper supplementation based on their specific fitness and health level, mindset and lifestyle.
