What is your training style:

I do a complete assessment of each client's needs, obstacles, and goals so I can see how best to help them. Then I am obsessive in my research. If you have hypertension, I study everything there is to know about reducing blood pressure. If you have diabetes, I become an expert on diabetes. Then I show you what I've learned and help you to take charge of your health! My role is to be your researcher, teacher, encourager, motivator and partner to help you achieve all your health related goals!

Why have you become a trainer:

I want to help others to live life to its fullest! Before I became a personal trainer I was a social worker. There I learned how to help people set realistic goals and encouraged them to reach those goals. I want to help you become your best spiritually, emotionally and physically. I want you to know that with a little help and a lot of hope and perseverance you can accomplish just about anything!

What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:

They see it as something they have to do rather than something they get to do. Believe it or not, in time, you will actually look forward to exercise. After all, these bodies are made to move! Soon your body will actually crave exercise. It will become something you must fit in like a morning shower or an evening meal. Exercise isn't a chore, it's a wonderful way to pamper yourself! Let me show you how to change your attitude about exercise, eventually your body will follow.

How would you help an overweight client lose weight:

Losing weight is simple but it isn't easy. Most know what they need to do but can't stick with it. Eat right and exercise. It's really that simple. Diets, gadgets and pills won't do it. Give me two to three months and I can help you to make exercise and eating right a natural part of your life. My role is to be your researcher, teacher, encourager, motivator and partner, to help you achieve all your health related goals, and to help you become empowered and equipped to become your best!
