My Introduction:
What is your training style?
Up to this point in my career, I have over 15,000 hours of one-on-one training. I've taught over 200 students at the most advanced training school in the country to become personal trainers. I'm the President of StayYoung Fitness, Inc., which specializes in every style. We have weight training experts, yoga experts, kickboxing experts, massage therapists, even a chef.
Why have you become a trainer?
I believe that everyone is put on this earth for a reason. Fortunately, I found my reason many years ago. Exercise and nutrition has always fascinated me. Starting at age 10, I read every book I could get my hands on. My passion for this complex field has enabled me to help others live a more satisfying and rewarding way of life.
What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry?
I am a firm believer in core conditioning and the age old approaches to fitness that have been around for many years. The new trends are what they are, trends. They will pass by just like no carb diets, and other get rich schemes people make up. Nothing compares to good, old fashioned weight training workouts and high intensity cardiovascular routines. I find it funny every time I pick up a fitness magazine and see all the crazy new exercise trends.
What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience?
Our services incorporate every facet of health and fitness into our clients' lives. Being a former United States Marine helps. That title brings with it a great sense of discipline, incredible work ethic, and a devotion to helping others. Couple that with an indisputable talent for personal training and you have a man, a service that was solely put on this earth to help others trying to improve their health and way of life.
In general, please describe your experience?
I have been training full time for over 12 years. I began StayYoung Fitness, Inc. over 7 years ago. Now, we are one of the largest in-home only personal training services in the Tri-State area. We have several personal trainers, each with a different specialty. The exciting part of training with StayYoung Fitness, Inc. is that you'll never know which trainer will show up at your door. All programs are overseen by me, and occasionally I'll show up at your door.
How would you help an overweight client lose weight?
Damien Young specializes in weight loss. He is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Sports Nutritionist, and Personal Trainer who utilizes a complete mind/body approach to fitness. Men and women who are overweight most often lack the appropriate mindset for losing weight. Without it, they are doomed for failure. Over 95% of people who go on a diet or exercise program fail within 3 years. The reason is the lack of the correct mindset to begin with. Damien first addresses this issue before tackling others.

Stay Young Fitness Corporation offers services that range from $40.00 per month, to $5000.00 per month. We have online personal training, one-on-one personal training, lifestyle and behavior modification training, personal chef services, massage therapy, and a new 8 Week Physique Program. The greatest part of our services is that all of them are done in the convenience of your own home or office.
