Why have you become a trainer?

I became a trainer to help people realize their dreams and goals of a healthy lifestyle. I believe that fitness transcends to all areas of your life. It enables you to be self confident, independent and have a positive outlook. I love what I do and if you love what you do you will never work another day in your life. Just ask my clients I do not do this for the money I do it because I love seeing the changes in your body an in your life. My rewards come from your success!

In general, please describe your experience?

I have been involved in health and fitness since high school. Working out has been a passion for me and now I get to share my passion for a living. I became certified with American Council on Exercise over 5 years ago as a Personal Trainer and currently completing my education to be a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. I have over 20 years combined experience in working with clients from all ages and all backgrounds. I currently own and operate my own studio in Fallbrook, CA.

How would you help an overweight client lose weight?

First you must see what you are doing before you can change. First start with a journal that tells me what you are currently eating and note how you feel each day for a full week. Then together we sit down and see where we can improve on your food plan and exercise. I do not believe in dramatic changes all at once. I do not believe in diets that deprive you of what you love. I use the principal that allows gradual long lasting weight loss. Calories in vs. calories out.
