My Introduction:

What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out?

Two mistakes people often make in their workout designs are (1) emphasizing cardio training without adequate strength training, and (2) choosing poor strength exercises with poor body alignment. Only proper strength training, keeps your bones dense, builds the lean tissue that drives metabolism and energy, and stimulates the hormonal system to keep us young, strong, and healthy in all ways. Russian kettle bell lifting all of these benefits, and believe me, the cardio is included!

What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience?

Working as a corporate mathematician for 10 years, I had to teach math and statistics to people without math backgrounds. In the same way, I can take the science behind exercise, behind flexibility, and behind diet, and turn it into a usable, workable program for anyone wanting to learn more. Whether teaching at my seminars in California and Colorado, or working with my individual clients, my greatest strength has always been my teaching ability.

Why should a client train with you?

As a strength athlete myself for over 20 years, I've tried many, many approaches to getting stronger and healthier. My core training philosophy is that no two people are alike in their goals or training and injury histories. It is my job to learn as much as I can about every client, and design a program based on time-tested principles and that emphasizes each person's strengths while helping to overcome problems and weaknesses. I'm confident that I can design the right program for anyone.
