How to find your workout buddy
To find your work out buddy you need to get a client account ( click here to register ) . Once you are registered you will log in to your account and click on the "I want a workout buddy" link that will take you to a form that you fill out. The form asks you for the location ( part of the city, neighbourhood, cross streets ) and your preferences for gender, age, profession, level of fitness, marital status.
How soon till I find someone
You can find someone within a few hours or within a week's time. It depends on how many people are located in your area. If you live in a metropolitan area it will be easier.
How to get started even faster
Some people are afraid to ask their friends or co-workers to be their workout-buddy, so just tell your friends that you are on a "workout-buddy" waiting list and that if they are interested, they should sign up and start working out with you.
What happens after I find someone
After you find someone, please follow the guidelines below:
- Contact the person by email/phone and talk about his/her health and fitness experience
- Schedule a brief 15 minute ( trial ) walk around the block or in the park together.
- If you have enjoyed the presence of the other person - send them an email, thanking them for the time and letting the know that you want to be his/her exercise partner.
- After you both agree, take the initiative and contact the person ASAP and commit to 2 times per week at the gym, outside, at someones home.
- From that point forward, work it out with your exercise partner and ask Zegee.com trainers for advice on how to exercise properly - you can use the health forum for that purpose.
- If for some reason you no longer wish to exercise with your workout buddy - use the code I need to take a break and the other person will know.
- "Taking a break" will be common for everyone at the beginning until you find someone you get along well in terms of exercise commitment and general personality match.
